Michael Vick
Over the summer, NFL star Michael Vick was found to have been involved in dogfighting and the killing of dogs. He was immediately suspended by the NFL. Vick now faces jail time. Upon hearing this new PETA (The people for the ethical treatment of animals) attacked Vick. To save his shattered image, Vick turned to PETA and wanted to be a spokesperson for them. He was turned away by PETA president Ingrid Newkirk. PETA has always been a great society, but I now respect them even more for turing away from Michael Vick.

I, for one, am a huge dog lover. Just seeing that video hurt so bad. How could a person do that to such a wonderful, loving, and loyal animal. Dogs are so much more than animals or pets even, they are members of families. I am also glad that PETA turned him away too. The only reason he offered to be a spokesperson is because is messed up big, and he just wanted to save his career. That's all he cares about. It's horrible because he's a person that little boys would look up to, and for them to see that, it's disgusting, to think how much this probably influenced them. I hope he really pays for what he did, after all if he can harm those dogs whats to stop him from hurting children or anybody else for that matter.
I've just gotten a chance to catch up on some of the blog videos. This one is really a tear-jerker. Were those pictures of the actual dogs that Vick killed? I wonder; though I suppose it doesn't really matter. I usually don't comment, but I agree with kae kae2 and hope he pays for his actions.
