When starting your own blog or even just posting a compent on one you have to consider your own kind of style. Whether you like leaving long comments or just a few sarcastic words, it is up to the individual person. Lets say that you want to start your own blog about dogs or something else that you like, are you going to set it up as a free for all or are you going to have certain parts that people can only write on. Is it going to be easy going and loose or cold and rigid like this blog for example, http://blogs.wsj.com/styleandsubstance/. You can take the opposite way and have a blog with all kinds of things happening such as this one, with pictures and comments all over the place, http://fabsugar.com/669173.
Another thing that you have to keep in mind when writing on a blog is that you have to stay on target with what you are trying to get across. You should not be skipping around from one subject to another since people are actually going to be reading what you write. Some people write the way they speak which can get frustrating for the reader. The bottom line is that style is up to the individual person and should be respected by others.

It is true that everyone has their own unique style. Just as every individual has a unique way of speaking, whether it be the words they use or the way the say these words, they also have a unique style of writing. As was stated in this post, the way you go about making a post directly reflects your style. If you were to observe someones' posts on a blog, for instance, you may start to see their style. It can even be so strong that even if the author's name wasn't left on the post, some people may be able to notice their work just based on the style.
